Abubakar Aliyu CON has stood tall, a multifaceted personality applauded not only as Deputy Governor and Honourable Minister but also as a seasoned Engineering fellow, socialite, philanthropist and recently conferred recipient of Commander of Niger- CON

Aliyus’s journeys are a testament to the transformative power of dedication and passion. As an astute Engineer, the Nigeria Society of Engineers has not only vested him recognition within the Engineering society but has also positioned him as an experienced Member and an advocate for sound engineering. Serving as a former Deputy Governor has brought forth innovative ideas, productive supervision of ministries assigned to him during his deputyship, sound advice, and initiatives aimed toward work synergy, loyalty and proactive stewardship.

Aliyu was and is a recipient of different recognitions and awards as a testament to his exceptional leadership, commitment to education, philanthropy, loyalty skills, and overall impact on the social fabric of Yobe State and Nigeria at large, It acknowledges his pivotal role in shaping the narrative of his stays as a permanent secretary, Deputy Governor, Supervisory commissioner for various ministries in Yobe state, Honourable Minister of State for works and also Federal Minister of Power, had positioned him as a role model for the younger generation and point of good reference.
