Kannywood’s Lilin Baba Donates N500,000 To Gaza Victims

Kannywood actor and rapper Shua’ibu Ahmed Abbas, popularlyly known as ‘Lilin Baba’ paid a homepage visit to a renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmed Gumi where he donated N500,000 support to the victims of the Gaza war.
Gaza is battling devastating casualties of lives and properties worth billions of dollars since its inception of war with the Israeli government.
A joint report by Aljazeera and Reuters gathered that over 90,000 people feared died in Gaza since the Israeli government launched relentless shells on the city.
Recall that on Friday, 20 October, the cleric, in a video circulated on social media, solicited donations from Muslims in the country to support Gaza’s civilians whom the war forced to flee their ancestral communities and reside in makeshift tents.
He emphasised the importance and necessity of support to the Palestinians as Jews are continuously killing Muslims in the country.
He, however, called on his counterpart clerics to intervene by summoning the Palestinian ambassador to Nigeria to discuss a possible solution to the war and submit the donation to him.
