Kano Govt, ICPC Partner To Fight Corruption

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has assured the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, of maximum cooperation in the fight against corruption in the state.
The ICPC spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua, in a statement in Abuja on Thursday, said the governor gave the assurance when the management of the Commission, led by its ICPC Chairman, Dr Musa Aliyu, SAN, paid him a courtesy visit in Kano.
She said the governor was represented by his Deputy, Aminu Gwarzo.
The governor expressed delight with the visit and commended the appointment of the ICPC boss by President Bola Tinubu as a testament to his pedigree and undiluted commitment to the Nigerian project.
