Labour party inaugurated 14-Man state Care taker committee in Adamawa.

The Adamawa state Chapter of the Labour party (LP) has inaugurated a fourteen man (14) care taker committee to over see the affairs of the party for the next three months.
Inaugurating the Committee in Yola Wednesday,the Deputy National Chairman of the party, Bishop Esther J.Gulmu charged the new party leaders to be guided by the provisions of the party’s constitution in handling activities of the party in the state.
Gulmu urged the leadership to carry every body along for effective and efficient contribution to the development of the party, the state and country at large.She reiterated the commitment of the party in providing devidends of democracy.
Presenting her acceptance speech, the Care taker chairman of Labour party, Beatrice Benjamin expressed delight with the feat hoping to have a smooth transition with a purpose.
Benjamin said that the emergence of her led caretaker committee was a child of necessity meant purposely to project all measures in promotion of unity and progress.
‘We are here not to fight anyone but to build policy, advocacy and to promote democracy, and to be all inclusive and to carry every body along.
“Without you, I am not anybody and without your support l can’t go anywhere, so l’m riding on your support and experience”. Benjamin advocated.
It could be recall that the labour party in the state was involved in a political leadership crisis where the embattled former chairman of the party, Nicholas Christopher was alleged mal-administration.
