Local Education Authority lauds ‘Safe the Children’s’ support, as Pupils solicit priority on education in Adamawa.

The Interventions in provision of support to education sector in Adamawa state by a International Non Governmental organization, ‘Save the Children’ has been applauded.
Education Secretary of Yola South local government area, Mallam Abba Bawuro
made the disclosure at the commentation of the World Children’s Day celebration noting that the support has given children a sense of belonging.
Represented at the occasion in Yola by Head of Mobilization ,Adamu Mohammad Friday, Bawuro stressed that the platform provide opportunity for the children to voice out their feelings about issues concerning them.
Malam Bawuro lauded state government for given priority to education urging other stakeholders to emulate the gesture to the future leaders.
Delivering his speech, the Speaker Adamawa State children’s Parliament, Aisha Umar appealed to governments and stakeholders to continue prioritizing education to save future of children as the leaders of tomorrow.
Speaker Umar and a pupil of the Wuro- Jabbe Primary School, Yola.said, the theme of this year commemoration ‘Listing to the future’ is apt for all parents and stakeholders to double their efforts in investing upon the children to have brighter future.
According to her, education is the most powerful weapon for the children to have good future and prevent them from committing negative behaviors.
Umar appreciated the state government and partners on their tireless efforts in reducing the out of school syndrome in the state.
She also advocate for the protection of children’s right in the state for them to succeed in life.
Mohammed Grema, Head Teacher appreciated Save the Children for given the school the opportunity of hosting the commemoration in the area.
Alhaji Bashiru Adamu, community leader, expressed happiness over the development seen in the school and appreciated Save the Children for impacting on pupils development.
He called on the children to always be active and ready to learn for their success in the future.
