Maiduguri Flood: Zulum Commends Binani Over N50m Donation

Borno state governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, on behalf of the government and people of the state has commended the 2023 APC governorship candidate in Adamawa state and the lone female governorship candidate in the country, Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani for the commiseration visit over the flood disaster that has ravaged the state capital and beyond.
Zulum thanked the political heroine for the N50 million she donated, in the spirit of sympathy, empathy and as a social social responsibility.
The communication Tuesday, initiated at the Binani media office, signed by Mr. Adamu Ibraheem Jimeta revealed that “Her Excellently Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) was earlier today in Maiduguri, Borno state Capital to commiserate with the people and Government of Borno State on the recent flood that ravaged the state killing many and displaced thousands.
Binani who was received by Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum told the Governor that “I am here this afternoon in company of representatives of my supporters and admirers across Adamawa State to commiserate with you and the people of Borno State over the flood disaster that Maiduguri and many other surrounding villages witnessed recently.
“We say Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi rajiun! May Allah in His Infinite Mercy never allow such calamity again to visit us wherever we are.
“Your Excellency, we know throughout history that the people of Borno have a high capacity for resilience, we therefore pray that Allah Almighty will make them overcome this tragedy very quickly and may Allah Almighty have mercy on those who lost their lives”.
Among the Binani entourage were Visit the first female Permanent Secretary in the defunct Gongola State and immediate past Chairman NYSC Board, Ambassador Fatee Balla, OON, her running mate at the 2023 general elections, Hon. Titsi Ganama, DG Binani campaign Organization, Senator Ahmed Hassan Barata, APC stalwart, Alh Umaru Mijinyawa Kugama, Hon. Mustapha Madawaki, a.k.a Otumba of Ekiti and Hon. Julius Kadala.
