The Adamawa State Governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, a.k.a Fresh Air, has finally, eventually approved the appointment of Barr Mahmud Abubakar as the District Head of Jalingo-Maiha, Maiha local government, northern senatorial district, Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria.

Earlier, the activities at the District Head’s Palace in Maiha that remained unoccupied for close to a decade following delays resulting from court cases, suggested that the legitimate occupier was about to come.

The supplications in jubilation have eliminated negative thoughts and illuminated the Maiha local government headquarters, even though it has been without electricity for many months occasioned by transformer challenges begging for replacement..

Sources have it that the appointment letter was delivered from the Emirate Council to the new District Head in Mubi today, Tuesday and the 11th District Head, after 11 years of struggle, would be accompanied to the District Head Palace on Thursday.

LETTER OF APPOINTMENT AS DISTRICT HEAD

Following the approval of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Honourable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (Sarkin Yaki Mubi), vide letter Ref. No. MCA/GHY/S.122/T.I/14 of 29th November, 2024, I am directed by the Mubi Emirate Council to convey the approval for your appointment as the District Head of Jalingo Maiha. The appointment takes effect immediately.

You are therefore advised to perform your duties and discharge your responsibilities to the best of your ability as the District Head of the District.
