NDE Trains 93,731 Unskilled, Unemployed Persons On Skills Acquisition Programs.

The National Directorate of Employment, NDE has concluded plans to engage a total of 93,731 unemployed youths for a special skills acquisition training.
Adamawa state Acting Coordinator of the Directorate,Mallam Bello Nuhu made the disclosure in a press statement issued yesterday indicating that the training will be under the Renewed Hope employment initiatives.
According to the statement, the Directorate will provide vocational, Agricultural and Entrepreneurial skills training with complementing transient job opportunities in the public works sector using over 30 different skills sets.
It explained that the job creation initiative of the NDE finds effective expression in six(6) out of the eight (8) priority areas of the Renewed Hope Agenda while the start-up capital equipment and working tools will be provided to deserving participants at the end of the training.
“Others will be linked to credit granting institutions to access loans to commence medium or large scale businesses and the exercise will commence on October 21st 2024 to the 31st December.2024.
“Interested persons can log on to www.nde.gov.ng to create an account or register on https://www.nderegistrationportal.ng with a valid email address, passport photograph and National Identity Number (NIN) or alternatively contact the NDE office in Adamawa state for assistance”.The statement explained.
It further added that successful candidates will be contacted by the NDE office for deployment to training outlets across the state and country at large.
