Niger revokes approximately 1000 diplomatic passports issued to associates by the overthrown regime

The military leader in Niger cancelled 992 diplomatic passports that were held by Nigerien citizens as well as foreign nationals associated with ousted president Mohammad Bazoum on July 26 on Friday.

This was reported by Press agency ANP on Thursday night, September 15.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement wrote to inform foreign embassies and diplomatic offices in Niger that the passports of former ministers, heads of institutions, MPs, advisors to the presidential office, and others are no longer valid.
