NNPP Reacts To Kano Tribunal Judgement

Following the nullification of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s victory as the governor of the state, the party described the verdict as a miscarriage of justice.

Acting National Chairman of the party, Abba Kawu Ali in a statement, alleged the tribunal unjustly subtracted 165,663 votes from the party’s result to award victory to the APC.

The Acting Chairman while appealing for calm in Kano state to the judgement was an affront to constitutionalism, vowing that the party would appeal the judgement.
