Operation Hadin Kai inauguates new facilities to effectively fight insurgency, bandits, other crimes

In it’s quest to effectively win the fight against insurgency, the Northeast Operation Hadin Kai of the Nigerian Army has inaugurated a new Training School and upgraded an existing one at the Maimalari cantonment, Maiduguri,, as part of efforts to completely wipe out Boko Haram insurgency in the region
While speaking at the graduation ceremony held at the Maimalari cantonment Maiduguri on Saturday, the theatre Commander,, Major General Wahidi Shuabu said ” the need for adaptability and rapid training in the face of evolving security threats is necessary,, , Our troops need to be able to adapt quickly and train others to do the same. We can’t afford to be caught flat-footed by these terrorists.”
General Wahidi said the new facilities are designed to equip Nigerian troops with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle Boko Haram, bandits, and other security threats. The training will focus on human rights and the rules of engagement, to ensure that Nigerian troops are not only effective but also responsible.
The commissioning and the graduation ceremony were attended by top military officials who commended General Shuaibu’s leadership and vision in enhancing the army’s training capabilities, describing it as a step forward in the Nigerian Army’s quest to become a world-class fighting force.
With the upgrading of the training facilities and providing a more conducive learning environment, with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced instructors. The Nigerian Army is sending a clear message to the terrorists: that they are coming after them , and will definitely win the war
It could be recalled that the troops have been battling Boko Haram insurgents for over a decade, and the new training facilities are necessary to boost their fighting capabilities.
According to the theater Commander, the new training facilities are part of a broader effort to enhance the Srmy’s capabilities to tackle the root causes of the insurgency in line with the Federal government’s pledged to do more to address the social and economic grievances that have driven many young people to join Boko Haram.
