Ribadu’s Sardauna Title: A Badge of Honor for Peace and Unity – Modibbo

Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, has been conferred with the revered title of Sardauna Adamawa by His Royal Highness, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, the Lamido Adamawa. This honor, one of the most prestigious in the Adamawa Emirate, comes as a recognition of Ribadu’s exceptional service to the nation and his enduring commitment to peace, unity, and security.
Gidado Mohammed Modibbo, a distinguished son of Adamawa and respected corporate leader, congratulated Ribadu on this historic milestone, describing the conferment as a “badge of honor for peace and unity.”
In his message, Modibbo highlighted Ribadu’s decades of service marked by courage, integrity, and dedication to public good. As the pioneer Chairman of Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ribadu led landmark reforms in the fight against corruption, earning international acclaim and setting new standards for accountability and transparency.
Today, as National Security Adviser, Ribadu continues to play a critical role in shaping strategies that strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture and foster stability across the country. His tireless efforts in building bridges, promoting national cohesion, and confronting security challenges with wisdom and resolve have distinguished him as a statesman of rare quality.
Modibbo commended these achievements, noting: “Your strides in fostering peace and unity are truly commendable.
