Security: Bauchi Vigilante And Youths Empowerment Partners With Citizenship Centre On Adopting Best Global Practices

The Commander General of Bauchi state Vigilante and youths empowerment agency, Dr Umar Aliyu Shayi, has adopted new security initiatives for ensuring global best practices on improving security services in partnership with management team of Centre for citizenship training, Jos.

This development was disclosed to media by Dr Umar Shayi, Commander General of the agency in Jos, shortly after the meeting with top management body.

Meanwhile, he noted that the communique of the meeting, resolved to have partnership on the following areas, strategic Partnership on improving skills, intelligence knowledge and enhancing operational capabilities of the agency by deployment of technology to eliminate terrorism in Bauchi state, introducing relevant software to track down all criminals, anti money laundering(AML), counter terrorism financing(CTF) and exchange of information and technology resources, as well as championing the acceptable global security standard on rules of engagement, full compliance with ethics and preservation of fundamental human rights during operations among others.

Dr Sahyi, noted that the partnership aimed to ensure optimal and improved security across Bauchi state in collaboration with conventional security agencies in the areas of having first hand collections of intelligence gathering

He equally pointed out that, during the meeting with Leadership and citizenship centre management team, the agency, sought the support of the center to actualize Governor Bala Mohammad’s agenda on improved internal security best policies through out the state.

Dr Shayi, expressed deepest satisfaction with the partnership and assured the Agency’s commitment to implementing global best practices intelligence gathering, effective operational security systems, management, methodology approaches across the state to maximize crimes to zero level

The CG, commended Governor Bala led administration in improving public protection, security of lives and properties across the state and emphasized the importance of fulfilling security obligations as a way of economic consolidation, growth and development in putting Bauchi state on the global map of democracy.

He concluded that, this historic partnership would facilitate the improvements of security standards compliance in the state by ensuring safety for all citizens.
