Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, a.k.a Binani, the 2023 APC governorship candidate in Adamawa state and the lone female governorship candidate in the country commiserated with family, Lunguda traditional Council, Guyuk local government, Adamawa state and the Country in a broadest sense on the irreparable loss of a man of honour, Distinguished Senator Jonathan Silas Zwingina PhD.
In a statement Wednesday, mourning the demise, the Gimbiyan Adamawa acknowledged the contributions of the intellectual politician to the political development of the state and the country, saying, “With a heavy heart, I mourn the death of Distinguished Senator Jonathan Silas Zwingina PhD.
“Senator Zwingina, former Senate Leader has distinguished himself in the service of people of Adamawa state and the Country at large.
“I have learnt from his vast wealth of experience from my days at the House of Representatives to the 2023 general elections where he led team of esteemed personalities and galvanized support for my candidacy at the general elections.
“He was one of the few politicians that paid their dues and always ready to support aspiring young politicians that have the interest of the Country at heart to excel.
“His demise has no doubt created a huge vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
“I condole his immediate family, Lunguda traditional Council, Adamawa state and the Country at large. Adieu, Baba Zwingina”.
