Service With Humility: The Case Of Usman Suleiman, by Comrade Barnabas Manyam

Courage knows no bounds. When he Studied at Government Collage Yola later known as General Murtala Muhammed College.

He had a singular mind to serve his fatherland with humility, poise and elegant, the task of uniting the people across then many different divides were also part of his dream.

That dream became a reality when Mallam Usman Suleiman completed his degree course and enrolled into the then Adamawa Civil Service.His egalitarian and egalitarian Civil Service career spanning many years in various capacities across the country, but he remained focus, humble and gentle in the disposition of his dream of serving his country well.

Mallam Usman Suleiman who held from a hospitable town of Mubi as anthropological analysis of the Sardauna province have revealed that Europeans first settled in Mubi using then Nigeria-Cameroon axis before reaching the rest of Mubi.

He planned to inspire others by dedication to all the duties he found himself with passion and absolute loyalty to all jobs and posts in the course of his service to his father land Alhaji Usman Suleiman is a unique personality and a lively person to meet in all the ministries he worked his determination and zeal is to improve humanity and reposition the nation that has been his ideas since day one.

His parent who loved visitors received and worked briefly with the European adventures who came into Mubi town from the Cameroon axis, and they played a very prominent role in translating the visits of the Europeans to the historical antecedents of Mubi and environment.

Their love for western education blossomed as they met the Europeans which necessitated them to invest in education by sending their children to schools.Hardworking and determined to excel in any given assignment, Mallam Usman Suleiman came into public life by serving many prominent personalities including Governors at a very young age and his love for his fatherland had increased tremendously as he encountered many people his mission and vision remained service with humility.

He was exposed to different people in the cause of his duties spanning many years from an administrative officer I to director PRS in Ministry of Agriculture to permanent secretary at the Government House Yola for security and special services.

The duties further exposed Mallam Usman Suleiman to humble himself the more as he meets with people and tackle governmental duties on daily basis.

Bagging his BSc. In Agriculture in 1985 – 1989 and Born in Mubi town on the 1st of January 1965 young and brilliant Usman Suleiman went to Yelwa Primary School in Mubi town now Mubi North Local Government he later attended General Murtala Mohammed Collage Yola in 1979 – 1984.Usman Suleiman was a brilliant student that had his mind settled on improving the life of his people as a student of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, young and energetic Usman Suleiman excelled in all field of endeavor to crown it all he graduated in the upper credit level in Agriculture.His greatest assets are his humbleness and high-level humanity that wins all battles.

Usman Suleiman is always delighted in overcoming challenges since he became Agric officer to director Planning and Research and Statistics and Agric Officer I from Agric officer I.Building a united Nigerian has been his cherished aspiration to bring about cohesiveness in the country as he goes about discharging his duties as a civil servant.
