US Navy donates 11-metre Rigid-Hull-Inflatable boat to Nigerian Navy
The United States Navy has donated an 11-meter Rigid-Hull-Inflatable Boat to the Nigerian Navy while offering to train 40 Nigerian Naval officers.
The 11-metre Rigid-Hull-Inflatable Boat was donated in order to strengthen the maritime security of the Nigerian waters as well as the Gulf of Guinea.
This was announced on the U.S. Mission Nigeria X handle on Monday, November 20.
It reads: “Empowering partnerships! Last week, we helped train 40 #NigerianNavy Special Boat Service personnel on the 11-meter Rigid-Hull-Inflatable Boat donated by the #USNavy. This aims to strengthen maritime security in Nigeria’s waters, and the Gulf of Guinea. #ProudPartners 🇺🇸🇳🇬.”
