Uzodimma Congratulates Yilwatda on Re-emergence as APC nat’l Chairman

By Hussaini Ibrahim

ABUJA — Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has congratulated Nentawe Yilwatda on his re-emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the party to greater heights.

Uzodimma described Yilwatda’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership capacity, experience, and commitment to the ideals of the ruling party.

“Indeed, to whom much is given, much is expected, and we, as committed party members, have every confidence in his capacity, experience, and dedication to deliver on the responsibilities entrusted to him,” the governor said.

He also commended the successful conduct of ward congresses across the country, noting that the process demonstrated the APC’s commitment to internal democracy and inclusive participation.

According to Uzodimma, the congresses laid a solid foundation for the smooth emergence of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) at the recently concluded national convention.

The governor noted that he personally seconded the motion for the adoption of the congresses at the convention, describing it as a critical step toward strengthening party unity and cohesion.

Uzodimma further highlighted the achievements of the #RenewedHope agenda under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the administration has continued to focus on economic revitalisation, improved security, and infrastructure development.

He said the impact of the President’s policies is being felt across subnational governments, reflecting what he described as the positive outcomes of ongoing reforms.

“As we consolidate on these achievements, we remain resolute in our commitment to ensuring President Tinubu’s victory at the 2027 presidential election in order to sustain the momentum of national growth and development,” he said.

Uzodimma reaffirmed the commitment of APC members to strengthening party unity and advancing governance reforms, stressing that the party remains focused on delivering its mandate to Nigerians.
