VP Shettima Breaks Ramadan Fast in Maiduguri

The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, arrived in Maiduguri yesterday for the Eid El-Fitr celebrations.
Upon arrival at the Mohammadu Buhari International Airport, Maiduguri, Senator Shettima was received by the Borno State Deputy Governor, Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur, who stood in for Governor Babagana Umara Zulum. Governor Zulum is currently performing Umrah, the lesser Hajj pilgrimage, in Saudi Arabia.
Later at the Government House, the Vice President joined dignitaries for the breaking of the Ramadan fast. Among those present were Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan (Borno Central), Hon. Usman Zannah (Kaga/Gubio/Magumeri Federal Constituency), Secretary to the State Government Bukar Tijani, Head of Civil Service Mallam Fannami, Borno APC Chairman Hon. Bello Ayuba, alongside commissioners, special advisors, senior special assistants, and other government officials.
