We Condemn in Totality The Attack Of Boko Haram In Bamzir Town – EYN President

The president of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN), Rebaran Dr. Denial Mbaya, has condemned a new attacks by the Boko Haram group on a church, houses and shops in Bamzir town in Chibok local government area of Borno state.
The attack also killed many people while the authorities and church sources confirmed the death of two Person.
In a voice message sent to Daily Hint reporter in Yola by the president of the EYN Church, Dr. Denial Mbaya, he described the attack as condemnable and said that there should be no compliancy in the security sector in this country.
He added that “we denounced the way these things are happening, in the dawn of the town where we were going to perform the prayer, they attacked us in the town of Bamzir, two people were killed and we were burnt in the place of worship, our members’ houses were burnt and shops.
“We call on the government and the security forces to work in order to ensure complete security for the people, the people obey the government’s right to protect the lives and property of the people, we call on the government and the security forces to do everything possible to save people’s lives” He emphasized.
The president also called on the people affected not to take the law into their own hands, he said, “taking the law into our own hands will not solve our problem, let’s not abuse or fight with anyone, let’s go back and move on and pray for God to save our country.
The President also expressed his condolences to the families, relatives, children who lost their relatives during the attack, and the people who are currently in exile.
Reports from the area indicate that the attack forced the residents of Bamzir town to migrate to Chibok town, and those who returned to the town are in panic and fear.
