Yobe Invests Over ₦40bn in Infrastructure, Education, Social Welfare in Two Weeks

The Yobe State Government, led by Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, has invested over ₦40 billion in infrastructure development, education, food security, and other essential social services aimed at improving the lives of its citizens.
Key infrastructure projects include the ₦22.3 billion Damaturu Flyover and Underpass Bridge, the ₦5.6 billion Damaturu-Gambir Road, and the ₦6.1 billion Damaturu Mega Motor Park, all designed to modernize the state capital.
In the education sector, the administration awarded a ₦2.2 billion scholarship to students of Tulip College Mamudo, underscoring its commitment to human capital development.
Additionally, as part of Ramadan initiatives and efforts to ensure food security, the governor has launched a food basket program worth billions of naira to support vulnerable residents across the state.
