YSU Fire Outbreak: Gov. Buni Distributes Foods, None-foods Items To Victims

Following a directive by the state governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) supports victims of the State University fire inferno with some immediate needs.
DAILY HINT reports that the governor, on Tuesday, visited the overwhelming scene of the fire incidents at the university and pledged support to the victims.
Recalls that, on Tuesday, a fire outbreak from a gas cylinder gutted a female hostel block in the Yobe State University, Damaturu.
It was gathered that the fire destroyed the block, accommodating over 150 students.
It was also learnt that no life was lost in the fire but that eight traumatised students were hospitalised in the university’s clinic and the Damaturu Specialist Hospital.
