Zamfara Assembly Loses Member, Kasuwar Daji

A member of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar-Daji, has passed away.
Kasuwar-Daji, who represented Kaura Namoda South Constituency in the 7th Zamfara Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reportedly died in his sleep in the early hours of Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
The APC in Zamfara State confirmed his death in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau.
The party expressed deep sorrow over what it described as the sudden demise of one of its dedicated lawmakers.
According to the statement, the party’s State Working Committee, executive members, and supporters mourn the loss, describing it as a shocking and painful development.
The statement further noted that the late lawmaker was a dedicated, honest, and God-fearing individual who served his constituency and humanity with commitment and passion.
The party extended its heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the people of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, and members of the State House of Assembly. It also prayed for Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdaus and to give his loved ones the strength to bear the loss.
Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar-Daji has since been buried according to Islamic rites in his hometown, Kasuwar-Daji, in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.
