DIG Ciroma Paid a Courtesy Call On Gov. Buni

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bala Ciroma, today paid a courtesy call on Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON.
Ciroma said he was on operation tour of the Northeast to assess police formations in the zone amidst the nationwide protests.
The DIG commended the state government for the excellent working synergy between the state government and security agencies especially the police.
He assured that the Police force would adopt some measures including increase in manpower to improve the operational capacity of the Yobe state police command.
Responding, Governor Buni commended the leadership and staff of the state command for their commitment and professionalism in executing their duties in the state.
“We have seen exhibition of high level professionalism by the police and other security agencies in the criminal looting of government and private properties in Potiskum, Gashua and Nguru under the guise of protest” Gov. Buni said.
He assured continued support to all security agencies to improve on the peace and security enjoyed across the state.
