“IT is not a surprise that NA gifted 2 APCs to Bandits”

What do we expect when we appoint a politician as Minister of Defence in an era of war.

The Army claimed that the Armoured Personnel Carriers were stuck in mud.

The video images posted by bandits showed that the APCs were on solid ground.

Therefore the military lied.

The APC were not stuck in mud or bad terrain. They were simply gifted to bandits.

A responsible military would have destroyed and blew up the APC if they have reason to abandon the APCs.

What should have been done is to rig up the APCs with explosives and dynamites which will be detonated remotely once the bandits gather around the APCs.

In other words, the abandoned APCs should have been used as a bait to kill fish.

I cannot imagine soldiers abandon and simply walk away from high grade military equipment just like that. They were not under ambush or attack. They were on the offensive and yet, made a U-turn.

Moshe Dayan said, “By way of deception, thou shall wage war”.

We have Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), but we lack simple intelligence.

The excuse that bad weather prevented air strikes is laughable.

We acquired sophisticated fighter jets that have no business with bad weather.

We acquired sophisticated Military grade helicopters that can fly low in bad weather.

We have Mi-35 attack helicopters. We have A-29 super Tucano jets, Fighter

JF-17 jets, Chengdu J-7 jets, Aermacchi M-346 jets, Alpha Jet, Aero L-39, and yet, *not a single one took off from the ground* to respond and fight!

When it comes to war, weather condition is no excuse, especially with jets that can fly at 60,000 ft altitude.

When you make a politician a minister of defense in a time of war, you have to be prepared for the worst.
