It was revealed that the creation of new systems to improve business and security in Jimeta Ultra Modern market, that it will revive business activities not only for people of Adamawa state, but also for the whole Nigerians.

The new chairman of the market management board, Chief Niwesa George Kushi (Pipiyo Batta) chairman Jimeta Ultra modern market, revealed this to the news men in Yola, he said that before the introduction of the systems thieves breaking into the shops and stealing goods.

He went on to say, “We have had great success in curbing thefts and breaking into shops that we have established a new law to close the market from 6pm to 8am.

“We provided security officers who are in charge of the market. If we close the market, anyone caught by the security officers will pay a fine. We have introduced a new system to protect the public’s properties” he stressed.

The chairman asked for the support and cooperation of the businessmen, he said that the policy of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is to improve the lives of the poor, he said that the governor has the goal of improving business activities in the state, which the businessmen will benefit from the programs.

“A market like Jimeta Ultra modern market should not be without regulations and law, we must make plans that will give everyone the desire to go to the market, we are planning to provide parking spaces for heavy goods vehicles.

“We will also improve the parking spaces so that everyone who comes to the market with their car will not be afraid of being stolen. There are waterways but there is flooding in the market. Businessmen pour sweeping in the waterways, we will not accept that.

Speaking about those who complain that the new laws of the market are too harsh, Mr Ageorge Kushi, said, “The reform is so tired, it is not possible for everyone to suffer for a long time, but if everything is settled, those who are crying will suffer for a long time.

He also thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the opportunity he gave him to lead the market and asked the businessmen to continue to support and pray for the governor to achieve his good goals for the people of Adamawa state.
