995 Dashen inhabitants accesses Senator Yaroe’s free medical outreach in Adamawa.

No fewer than Nine hundred and Ninety five (995) residents of Dashen community have been treated of various illnesses and diseases free of charge by the Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe’s medical outreach in Jada local government area of Adamawa state.

The one-day free medical outreach was conducted at the Dashen primary Health Care Centre,PHCC weekend where sick people with different health concerns including ; hypertension management, diabetes care, pelvic inflammatory diseases, peptic inflammatory diseases management, malaria, typhoid, anaemia were attended to.

Apart from the general health services, few surgical operations were undertaken on some patients for herniorrhaphy (hernia repair), appendectomy, hedrocelectomy, lumpectomy among other major and minor reported cases.

Speaking on the exercise, the surgeon and a consultant with Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital (MAUTH) Yola, Dr. Adediran Charles Adekola, said that about nine hundred and seventy-two (972) cases were treated with twenty-three (23) major and minor surgeries. Peculiar cases had been referred to MAUTH Yola.

Adediran remarked that, patients that were freely treated, were also given drugs for free, adding that, the medical outreach went smoothly as expected with a significant turnout of the community people seeking medical help.

Similarly, the Lead Consultant of the Binos Medical outreach, Dr.Jama Medan, said that, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe did not relent in his commitment and determination to ensuring the wellbeing of his constituents is enhanced through rendering quality free medical services.

Medan noted, “If one person is sick, it affects the whole community. A society cannot move forward beyond the health status of its people, which is why health is one of the topmost priorities for Senator Binos”.

While appreciating the support of the District head of Dashen for mobilizing his subjects,he also urged the people

of Nyibango-Dashen community to avail themselves for the outreach for their health benefits and betterment of the society.

A beneficiary, Mal. Abubakar Dashen, who according to him,he has suffered with a strange ailment for 12 years, but was treated and cured for free at the outreach expressed gratitude to the opportunity provided for them.

“I lack words to thank Senator Binos with. But God in heaven will reward him and grant him the desires of his heart. Finally, I am free from this disease”, he stated, with his heart full of gratitude.

Another beneficiary, Mrs. Beauty Ayuba Momsiri, who said said to have suffered from hernia for years, and was operated upon, and she went home free from any health challenge applauded the support from Senator Yaroe’s free medical outreach.

“I want to thank Senator more sincerely for this gesture. I will never forget him for the rest of my life. God in heaven will continue to bless him and give him more foresights”.Momsiri prayed.

Earlier in their separate remarks, the Facility Manager of PHCC Dashen, Roseline Esthon and the District Head of Nyibango-Dashen,Alh.Ahmadu Baba lauded the intervention through outreach by Senator Binos describing it as “first of its kind in the history of the area”.

They also commended the conduct and professionalism being displayed by the Medical Team, describing them as the best ever worked closely with assuring the Senator (Binos) of massive votes from the Dashen electorate come 2027 general elections.
