Gov. Buni attends North East Governors Meeting in Yola

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON today attended the 9th Northeast Governors Forum meeting in Yola.
Governor Buni, in the company of the host Governor Umar Fintiri, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, Borno state Governor and Chairman of Forum Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Gombe state Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, and Taraba state Governor Kefas Agbu.
Declaring the meeting open, Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Borno state , Prof. Zulum said the resettlement and recovery process of the states had been very encouraging.
He expressed the need to concentrate on agriculture to guarantee food security and sufficiency for people in the region.
Earlier in his welcome address, Governor Fintiri commended the state governors for their commitment to providing infrastructure to their people.
A communique is expected at the end of the meeting.
