Governor Buni Supports Victims of the Daya/Jauro Dajji Communal Clash

Follwing reports of communal clash recieved from Fika LGA and subsequent intervention by community stakeholders, YSHA and return of peace, His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON directed imediate first line support to victim.
Today 7th April 2024, The Executive Secretary of SEMA, Dr. Goje Mohammed, led team to sympathised wtih the vicitms and deliver Governor Bunis Message. While delivering the message Dr Goje re-echoed the significance of unity and peaceful coexistence, urging the communities to embrace peace.
Yobe State Government will continue exploring opportunities to ensure they have resettled back and better in line with Governor Bunis Post disaster reintegration and recovery plan.
ES SEMA thank Member YSHA representing Fika, Hon Ishaku Daya and the Hon House for jointly ensuring that the vicitms are well attended to.
The items distributed to the two communities include :

7. Mosquito nets
8. Wrappers
9. Brocade
10. Salt
The community leaders conveyed their appreciation to His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON for the swift response, emphasizing that peace is here to stay, and the support will play a vital role in assisting the affected families to recover and rebuild their lives.
