Operation Lake Sanity II, Force Commander MNJTF Visits Baga, Mallam fatori, Wulgo others

The Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Maj Gen Ibrahim Sallau Ali, was in Wulgo, Mallam Fatiri, Dauron Baga, Cross Kauwa and other Frontline formations as parts of his operational visit to the troops engaged in Operation Lake Sanity.
The MNJTF in a statement signed by the Force Chief Military public Information Officer, Lt Col. Abubakar Abdullahi said ” during the visit, Maj Gen Ali expressed confidence in the collective capabilities of the troops to eradicate terrorism in the region. He highlighted the significant reduction in the strength of Boko Haram, noting that their reliance on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) underscores their weakened state.
To counter this threat, Gen Ali revealed the introduction of measures designed to outmaneuver the adversaries.”
The statement said” General Ali emphasized the importance of staying vigilant and cautious, reaffirming his trust in the commanders and the high expectations he harbors for the success of Operation Lake Sanity II.
“The purpose of visit was not only to evaluate the progress of the ongoing operation but also to boost the morale of the troops in the frontline. He pledged to continue to support the troops with all needed logistics for the operation to succeed”, he said.
