Adamawa APC Elders Council Charts Path for reconciliation, Unity, Electoral Victory .

The Adamawa State APC Elders Council Forum has reaffirmed its commitment in repositioning to strengthen the party to victory in the forthcoming 2027 general elections in the state and Nigeria at large.
Publicity Secretary of the Forum, Comrad e Ahmed Sajoh gave the position while addressing journalists after a strategic reconciliatory meeting held in Yola, the Adamawa state capital yesterday stating that the forum was on its mandate for
strengthening party unity, reconciling aggrieved members, and positioning the All Progressives Congress (APC) for victory in future elections.
Sajoh explained that the Adamawa APC Elders Council Forum was established to serve as an inclusive, non-partisan platform dedicated to promoting peace, unity and progress within the party noting that, the forum has continued to record significant progress in its engage ments with party leaders, stakeholders and aspirants across the state.
Sajoh, a former commissioner of information and strategy in the state said consultations and reconciliation efforts are ongoing to ensure that every member has a sense of belonging, regardless of the outcome of the party primaries.
He emphasized that the forum remains committed to accommodating all interests within the APC and building a united political family capable of delivering victory for all party candidates.
He also debunked rumours circulating in some quarters that candidates who emerged victorious during the APC primaries would be replaced, describing the reports as false, misleading and the handiwork of individuals seeking to create confusion within the party.
He urged APC members to disregard such rumours and remain focused on the party’s collective goal of unity, stability and electoral success.
Earlier in his remarks,Vice chairman of the Forum and former Senator Abubakar Halilu Girei said the gathering was convened to consolidate the party, encourage reconciliation among members, and develop a united front capable of delivering electoral victories for APC candidates at all levels, from the Presidency to the Governorship, National Assembly, State Assembly and other elective offices.
Senator Girei maintained that the forum deliberated on key issues affecting the APC in Adamawa State, with particular emphasis on fostering unity among members, strengthening internal cohesio n,and ensuring that every aspirant, whether successful or unsuccessful during the party primaries remains an integral part of the APC family.
Our correspondent in Yola reports that the meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (Rtd.), Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the NDLEA and Chairman of the Adamawa APC Elders Council Forum and that, the
meeting ended with a renewed resolve by members of the Forum to intensify reconciliation efforts, strengthen internal democracy and mobilize support across the state in preparation for future elections.ooo
Among those in attendance were former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Abubakar Halilu Gire; Mrs. Olvadi Bema Madayi, Commissioner representing Adamawa State at the Federal Character Commission; Hon. Abdulrahman Shuaibu Aras, former Governor Bala James Ngilari, and several other elders and stakeholders of the party.
