Gov. Buni Arrives N’Djamena for High-Level Strategic Engagements as Chairman Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, and Chairman of the Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum, has arrived in N’Djamena, Republic of Chad, for a critical strategic engagement.
This visit is part of a follow-up to the resolutions adopted during the 5th Governors Forum Meeting.
Recall that Governor Buni was unanimously elected Chairman of the Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum during the forum’s 5th meeting held in Maiduguri.
Under his leadership, the forum seeks to address pressing issues affecting the region, including security, climate change, and sustainable development.
The high-level engagement in N’Djamena underscores Governor Buni’s commitment to fostering regional collaboration and implementing actionable solutions for the challenges confronting the Lake Chad Basin.
