Governor Buni Set to Unveil Nigeria’s Largest Modern Trailer Park in Potiskum

The Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, is set to complete and commission a state-of-the-art modern trailer park in Potiskum, marking a significant milestone in infrastructure development and economic growth in the region.
The ultra-modern facility, the largest of its kind in Nigeria, is in its final construction phase, with key finishing touches such as asphalt paving currently ongoing around the clock.
Once completed, the trailer park will serve as a critical transportation hub, enhancing trade and logistics while creating thousands of job opportunities.
Strategically designed to accommodate 1,000 trailers at a time, the park will provide a safe, organized, and fully equipped space for transporters, traders, and other stakeholders. The project is expected to generate over 5,000 jobs, empowering local youth and boosting economic activities within the state.

The Potiskum trailer park is designed to international standards, incorporating essential facilities to ensure efficiency, convenience, and safety. Key features of the project include:
Trailer Repair Workshop: A well-equipped facility for the maintenance and servicing of heavy-duty vehicles.

Financial Services: A fully operational bank to facilitate transactions and financial security.
Hospital and Emergency Services: Providing healthcare services to drivers, traders, and visitors.
Security and Safety Infrastructure: A dedicated police station and fire service office to ensure law and order.
Recreational and Hospitality Facilities: A modern hotel, relaxation areas, a football pitch, and a variety of commercial shops.
Religious and Social Amenities: A mosque, steady electricity supply, clean water systems, and well-structured roads with proper drainage.
