North East Publishers Forum Congratulates NEDC MD Mohammed G. Alkali on NSE Award of Excellence

The North East Publishers Forum (NEPF) has congratulated the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Alhaji Mohammed G. Alkali, on receiving the Award of Excellence from the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
In a congratulatory message, the Forum described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Alkali’s visionary leadership, dedication to public service, and outstanding contributions to infrastructure development, reconstruction, recovery, and sustainable development across the North-East region.
The Forum noted that under Alkali’s leadership, the NEDC has continued to implement transformative projects and interventions in critical sectors, including roads and bridges, education, healthcare, water supply, human capital development, and other essential infrastructure aimed at accelerating socio-economic recovery and improving the quality of life of millions of people across the region.
The NEPF said the prestigious award, presented during the 5th Engr. Mustapha Bulama Memorial Lecture at the Musa Usman Conference Centre in Maiduguri, Borno State, further underscores the remarkable impact of Alkali’s leadership and the growing contribution of the NEDC to the reconstruction, stabilisation, and long-term development of the North-East.
“As publishers and media professionals committed to the progress and development of the North-East, we are proud to identify with this remarkable achievement. This honour is a testament to Alhaji Mohammed G. Alkali’s commitment to rebuilding communities, restoring hope, and creating sustainable opportunities for the people of the region,” the Forum stated.
The North East Publishers Forum further commended Alkali for his dedication to the mandate of the Commission and urged him to remain steadfast in advancing programmes and projects that promote peace, recovery, development, and prosperity across the six states of the North-East.
The Forum wished the NEDC Managing Director continued wisdom, strength, and success in the discharge of his responsibilities, while congratulating him on the well-deserved honour.
