Potiskum-Ngojin Road: Gov. Buni Fulfills Campaign Promise, Says Commissioner for Works

Potiskum, Yobe State – The Yobe State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Umaru Wakili, has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni, CON, for fulfilling his campaign promise to the people of Potiskum and its environs through the completion of the Potiskum-Ngojin Road project.
Engr. Wakili made this assertion while supervising the final stages of the road’s completion, describing the project as a significant milestone in the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and boosting connectivity across the state.
“Alhamdu Lillah! This project is now 100% complete, and His Excellency has demonstrated yet again his dedication to uplifting the lives of our people. This road will enhance transportation, trade, and access to essential services for this community and beyond,” Engr. Wakili stated.
The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the quality of work delivered, noting that the road meets modern engineering standards and will serve the community for years to come. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Works and contractors in ensuring the timely delivery of the project.
He further emphasized Governor Buni’s focus on fulfilling his campaign promises, highlighting other completed projects that have transformed Yobe State into a hub of development and progress.
