2027: We will be on the ballot, ADC assures Adamawa members

The Adamawa state Chapter of African Democratic Congress (ADC) has advise its members to disregard the political gimmick being speculating about the party’s court litigation.

State chairman of the party, Barrister Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin gave the advice while answering questions from journalists in Yola weekend after the party’s stakeholders meeting insisting that the party will be partaking in the forthcoming 2027 general elections across the country.

Barrister Dasin assured its members in Adamawa State that the party will be on the ballot for the coming 2027 general elections urging all interested aspirants to liase with the party’s leadership for
their declarations and related issues.

“The Supreme Court ruling affirming the national leaders of the party is enough assurance that the party will the party will be on the ballot at all levels of the election in 2027,” Dasin emphasised, asking the publicity department to be active in passing the message across.

“Members are encouraged to remain firm against all external and sugar-coated lies and propaganda against the party.

“The party is intact, the leadership is intact and we are ready to proceed with preparations for nomination exercise at all levels.”Dasin emphasized.

Shedding more light on the strategic stakeholders meeting of the party, State Publicity Secretary of the party, Martins Dickson,said that, this engagement have become necessary after the supreme court verdict to enable the membership and stakeholders have a proper understanding of where the party is with the view to strengthen grassroots followership towards the forthcoming activities of the party in the state.

Dickson charged members and supporters across the state not to panic rather remain resolute,firm and focus as the electoral processes unfolds.

A communique was issued at the end of the stakeholders engagement which brought together local Government party chairman, State working committee and other stakeholders at the grassroots level read by the party state secretary, Barrister.Shagnah Pwamaddi.

In the Communique,the party announced to hopefully commence sales of nominations and expression of intention forms of the party to those interested to contest under ADC platform.
