Adamawa: Salihijo pledges robust empowerment packages to constituents if elected

Elected candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Yola North,Yola South and Girei federal constituency,Engr Ahmad Salihijo has pledged to focus on
skills development, digital opportunities, SME growth, agriculture value chains, vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and practical systems that prepare our people for a modern economy.
Salihijo made the pledge at a press conference in Yola on Monday stressing that a Constituency that creates opportunity creates stability noting that the teeming graduates especially the youths and women would accommodate in order to make them useful to the society so that they can also reciprocate by becoming employers of labour.
Salihijo used the forum to extend his ulmost appreciation to party leadership at the state and National levels, Presiden t Bola Tinubu,NSA,Nuhu Ribadu and Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for providing a label playing ground which gave him the opportunity to click the House of Representatives ticket for his constituency.
“To my fellow aspirants, I extend respect and gratitude. Primaries produce candidates, but unity produces victory. This contest may be over, but the real work now begins.
‘We must reconcile, consolidate, and move forward together as one political family committed to the progress of our constituency and the success of our great party.
‘Our campaign will not be built on noise. It will be built on our collective strenght in unity, competence, delivery, credibility, and measurable impact”. Salihijo stated.
He assures representation that can attract development, influence policy, connect communities to opportunities, and solve real problems promising people oriented representation not that of merely about slogans.
“Effective lawmakers understand governance systems. They understand budgets. They build institutional relationships. They know how to engage federal agencies, development partners, and private actors. Most importantly, they know how to ensure that federal opportunities reach the grassroots.
“My experience in public service, especially in rural electrification, infrastructure delivery, development finance, and institutional leadership, has prepared me with practical knowledge of the issues that matter most to our constituency: energy access, jobs, enterprise growth, youth productivity, agriculture, education, healthcare, and community stability.
“Yola North,Yola South, and Girei deserve representation that understands how Abuja works and how to make Abuja work for our people”.He emphasized.
My experience in public service demonstrates a track record of that type of delivery, but this campaign is not about the past alone. It is about what that experience can now do for the people of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei.
Salihijo also hammered on carrying all along explaining that his vision will be inclusive. Every ward, every community, and every demographic group youth, women, traders, farmers, professionals, religious leaders, traditional institutions, and persons with disabilities will have a voice.
“We will build a new culture of representation rooted in accessibility, competence, transparency, policy depth, and measurable results. The future of politics belongs to those who can combine political understanding with technical competence, while respecting the guidance, wisdom, and experience of our elders.
“This moment is not the end of a political process.It is the beginning of responsibili ty.Together, with unity, humility, and purpose, we can build a constituency that is economically stronger with better representation.
“As we head into the campaigns with unity and purpose, I am grateful for opportunity to serve and look foward to the same hard work and dedication from myself and stakeholder for success in the general elections”. Salihijo solicited.
